Was just musing over the word “Halloween”. As far as I know, to "hallow" is to make something sacred or holy. It is so contrary to the meaning what most people perceive “Halloween” as, is it not?
Perhaps it would be a good idea if we start calling it "Helloween"? :)
p/s : It may be an old movie, but if you havent watched it, "The Nightmare before Christmas" is a good movie to watch in conjunction with Halloween. :) brilliant in both visuals and audio.
